A Collaborative Approach to Governance

For nearly three decades in law enforcement, I learned that true leadership is built on a foundation of integrity, experience, and the courage to make a decision when it matters most. It’s about more than just a title, it’s about providing calm and steady guidance in the face of uncertainty. My career has taught me how to lead diverse teams, build consensus, and work collaboratively with government agencies to get things done.

I will bring that same steadfast and action-oriented approach to the Board of Aldermen.

Leadership in a community like North Topsail Beach is not a solo endeavor - it is a shared responsibility. My experience as Chair of the Zoning Board of Adjustment has shown me that the best decisions are made when we listen to every voice, from long-time residents to second-home owners and local business leaders. As your Alderman, I will practice inclusive leadership by seeking out and valuing the opinions of every stakeholder.

I will work with my fellow board members to foster an environment of open dialogue and mutual respect because together, we can find the best path forward for our community.

A Vision for Our Future

I believe that the role of an Alderman is to be a responsible steward of our town’s future. My leadership will be guided by a clear vision: to ensure North Topsail Beach remains a safe, resilient, and welcoming place for generations to come. I will use my experience in emergency management to prioritize our coastal preparedness and my background in fiscal management to make responsible budget decisions.

Every decision I make will be focused on preserving the unique character of our beach town while preparing for a prosperous future.
